Rosalind Peterson is California President and Co-Founder of the Agriculture Defense Coalition ( ADC ).  The ADC was formed in 2006, to protect agricultural crop production from uncontrolled experimental weather modification programs, atmospheric heating and testing programs, and ocean and atmospheric experimental geoengineering programs.

The ADC works to educate the pu b lic in protecting agriculture crop production, crop trees, and cattle ranching from the negative impacts of these programs.   The ADC works to educate the pu b lic a b out experimental and unregulated weather modification programs and U.S. Senate and U.S. House Bills that would “modify” or “mitigate” our weather, damage crop production in the United States , disrupt micro-climates, and negatively impact pu b lic health.

When coupled with geoengineering schemes and experimental atmospheric programs,  (and the chemicals used in these programs), the negative impact of these programs, and their unknown synergistic effects, could have profound effects on pollinators, wildlife, agriculture, trees, human health, soils, and our water supplies.

Note:   NASA research studies show that increasingly persistent jet contrails may turn into man-made clouds (or white haze), that are “…trapping warmth in the atmosphere and exacer b ating glo b al warming…”  NASA (2005), goes on to state that “…Any change in glo b al cloud cover may contri b ute to long-term changes in the Earth’s climate.  Contrails, especially persistent contrails, represent a human-caused increase in the Earth’s cloudiness, and are likely to b e affecting climate and ultimately our natural resources…”

Ms. Peterson was a Keynote Speaker at the 60th Annual DPI/NGO Conference on Climate Change ( New York on Septem b er 5-7, 2007 .)  She spoke a b out agriculture and the negative impacts of geoengineering and persistent jet contrails on tree and plant health, along with other important issues.  Since that she has presented her United Nations Power Point Presentation to colleges, universities and interested groups.  She has b een interviewed on numerous radio and television programs with regard to these programs.

In 1995, Rosalind, now retired, b ecame a certified California United State Department of Agriculture  (USDA) Farm Service Agency Agriculture Crop Loss Adjustor working in more than ten counties throughout California .  Many crop losses throughout the State can b e attri b uted to weather related causes.

Between 1989 and 1993 Rosalind worked as an Agricultural Technologist for the Mendocino County Department of Agriculture.  After leaving Mendocino County she took a position with the USDA Farm Service Agency as a Program Assistant in Mendocino, Sonoma , and the Salinas County Offices, where she worked until b ecoming certified as a crop loss adjustor for the USDA, State of California .

Rosalind also worked for Mendocino County Pro b ation for four years b etween 1999 and 2004, as a Pro b ation Assistant for b oth the adult and juvenile pro b ation divisions.  She is also a certified Tennis Teaching Professional and currently coaches the Ukiah High School Boys’ Tennis Team. She has b een teaching tennis professionally for over twenty-five years.

Rosalind has a BA degree from Sonoma State University in Environmental Studies & Planning (1991 ENSP), with emphasis on solar power, photosynthesis, agriculture, crop production, and the efficient use of energy in the future.

Ms. Peterson has won several awards and recognition for her extensive efforts to protect drinking water supplies in Martinez, California, from toxic chemical contamination.  She also writes articles for NewsWithViews.com on many su b jects including protection of the environment from ongoing, unregulated experimental atmospheric and weather modification programs.

TELEVISION NEWS ALERT – EXPERIMENTAL WEATHER MODIFICATION(INCLUDES A SEGMENT ON MENDOCINO COUNTY , CA )

Partial Transcript of KNBC "Toxic Sky" - May 23, 2006(Note: Items in parenthesis are added to the this partial transcript for clarification purposes.)

Professor Gregory Benford of UC Irvine works with the Department of Energy (DOE) on weather research.

Paul Moyer: He says the DOE doesn’t know of any jets spraying chemicals to affect the weather. However, he says, we will pro b a b ly see it in the near future.

Gregory Benford: “You’ve got to, in a sense, engineer all these, so you get the right kind of clouds, with the effects we want.”

Paul Moyer: It is called geoengineering. Fighting glo b al warming b y putting a chemical dust in the atmosphere and reflecting harmful radiation b ack into space.

Gregory Benford: “You could use b arium oxide, for example, which makes b ig fluffy clouds. You could use tiny little b its of aluminum…and essentially manage the climate.”

But Rosalind Peterson (former California U.S.D.A., Certified Crop Loss Adjustor), says Health Department records show a sharp increase in b oth chemicals in the water supplies across California .

Rosalind Peterson: “And what I found was unusual spiking (in California drinking water tests) since the early 1990s, and b arium, aluminum…”

Rosalind Peterson: “I went and got all the tests (from the California State Department of Health, Drinking Water Division since 1984) and all these things in the same test would b e up way over state and federal standards. This had to b e air b orne b ecause how could it get into such diverse regions of our county (and State drinking water supplies)?

Paul Moyer: “Is it legal?”

Rosalind Peterson: “I don’t know b ecause we haven’t had a pu b lic discussion.”

Paul Moyer: But what is unknown today may b e actual fact tomorrow thanks to a b ill soon to b e voted on in the U.S. Senate, a weather modification act calling for research in [quote] “...attempting to change or control b y artificial methods the natural development of atmospheric cloud forms…”

Paul Moyer:   In the meantime a lot of people are wondering if they’ll ever get clear skies and a clear answer.

Paul Moyer:   “The legislation is there. Therefore some b ody is thinking a b out this. How does this make sense…?”

Laurie Kelly:  “I don’t know. May b e they’re practicing.”

Paul Moyer:   “…over Cedar Glen, over Arrowhead?”

Laurie Kelly: “Ah, I guess you have to try it out b efore you use it. I’m not sure.”

Paul Moyer:   “Well, you b e the judge. We’ll keep you posted on anything further on this story. And there will b e more, that’s for sure. More information on the weather modification proposals, check on our we b site: NBC4.tv.” END FOR NOW

On July 28, 2008, KTVU News (Oakland/San Francisco/San Jose, California), presented a new program on weather modification.(5)  John Fowler, the Health & Science Editor for KTVU, conducted research into this su b ject after b eing given many government documents and other information.  This Special Report was the result of his investigation and it is one of the very few you will see on this su b ject.

Frank Somerville (KTVU News Anchor):   “Should humans tamper with mother nature?  Weather modification is a growing trend b oth here in Northern California and around the world.  So, does it work?  And why do some people say it could do more harm than good?  KTVU Health & Science Editor, John Fowler, has tonight’s Special Report.”

John Fowler:             “So what a b out making rain?...here in downtown San Francisco, at PG&E’s (Pacific Gas & Electric Company), headquarters, up on the 16th Floor, in their weather office, where the utilities top weather man, Byron Marler, studies charts and satellite pictures.  Marler’s jo b is to change weather, although he won’t say it that way.”

Byron Marler (PG&E):          “Most of this watershed in the Sierra Nevada are cloud seeded b y someone.”

John Fowler: “Water districts, corporate farms, even private individuals, all modify the weather with little oversight and no government restrictions.”

Golden Gate Weather Consulting Meteorologist, Jan Null, advises cloud seeders:   “You have a lot of people experimenting with the atmosphere…”

John Fowler: “And what a b out unintended weather modification such as those persistent jet contrails that crisscross our skies. These are over Mendocino County (CA) where military jets practice...”

Maury Roos (California State Department of Water Resources):                “They are b locking some of the sunlight coming in b ut they also trap, trap some of the heat.  So the jury is out as to what the exact effects are… b ut those contrails do have an effect upon the weather and climate
